Virginia Metro Athletic Conference Hosts Inaugural Swim Championships

The first annual Virginia Metro Athletic Conference (VMAC) Swim Championships was a resounding success, marking an exciting milestone for the conference. Hosted by The Carmel School, the event ran smoothly thanks to the leadership of Head Coach Lacy Whitaker and an incredible group of parent volunteers. A special thank-you also goes to senior swimmer Keegan Taylor, who kicked off the meet with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

High Point Female:
🏆 Junior Ella James (Williamsburg Christian Academy)

• Gold in 50 Free & 100 Free
• Gold in 4×50 Free Relay & 4×100 Free Relay with her team

High Point Male (Tie):
🏆 Freshman Graham Frye (Grace Christian School)

• Gold in 100 Back & 200 Free
• Gold in 4×50 Free Relay & 4×100 Free Relay with his team

🏆 Sophomore Zachary Lehman (Grace Christian School)

• Gold in 200 IM & 100 Breaststroke
• Gold in 4×50 Free Relay & 4×100 Free Relay
