The Virginia Metro Athletic Conference - Glorifying God Through Athletic Competition

Welcome to the Virginia Metro Athletic Conference website. The VMAC was started in 2015 with a group of four faith-based schools that sought something different for their student-athletes: a place where they could compete and grow in an environment where keeping Christ first and set firmly in their gaze was a priority over victories, statistics, and accolades. We have steadily grown since those schools joined together under the VMAC moniker, and now number six schools, with St Micheals's a provisional member this year and set for full membership in 2025. Below we share our Core Values and By Laws for anyone wishing to know what we are all about and for schools seeking the same as our four charter members were.

The Virginia Metro Athletic Conference (VMAC) is a non-denominational Christian interscholastic, athletic, and character building ministry encompassing a group of accredited private schools who are collectively Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) members.

The mission of the Virginia Metro Athletic Conference is to foster student-athletes’ physical, intellectual, and spiritual development while promoting outstanding sportsmanship within an athletic and interscholastic environment of competition.

The bylaws of the VMAC are the rules and procedures that govern all schools in the league in terms of athlete and athletic event conduct, team requirements, and other basic rules and regulations.
